Cornelli Lace

I have seen this technique a lot and always like it. I decided it was time to learn how to do the cornelli lace, so I did. In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I chose a green base with white lace.

For the love of cakes!

I love decorating cakes and learning new techniques. It is funny, I wont even need to make a cake for someone, but I find I MUST try something new. I don't know if my family can stand anymore cake...but they must! I so want to make a wedding cake soon...need to find someone that needs one. I may just make a practice wedding cake. When that happens, I will certainly post the pictures.
Cake making is so fun, and the results are YUMMY!

Ruffles and Daisies....Lovin' it!

Taught myself the ruffle border today...I really love this cake. The family is enjoying eating it too.
